![]() ![]() The Bunny Lord returns too, but this time as a specialversion of Oni Hanma. Rabbits return in Shadow Warrior 3 and are identical to ones seen in previous two games. The Demon Rabbits still spawn, albeit now called Bunny Lord. Rabbits are present in Shadow Warrior 2 and are identical to the ones seen in 2013 version. Differently from the Classic, there's now a chance for a Demon Bunny to spawn after killing a rabbit, which is a dark, hostile version of a normal one. They act the in the same manner as the ones in the Classic. On Level 20, when exploring Zilla's volcano base, a pack of rabbits will attack and try to kill Lo Wang. ![]() If Wang comes closer to him, rabbit will start to hop at Wang and starts slowly killing him. In it, one rabbit sits alone, with bones scattered all around him. On Level 4, an area can be found that's a representation of a scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Though most rabbits are harmless, there's two encounters in the original game in which they can hurt or even kill Wang. Rabbits can be found in forest levels and on rabbit farm in Level 4. Rabbit will mate with each other from time to time, which will result in a baby rabbit spawning in the area. The player on the other hand, can kill them without any repercussions. Rabbits are completely non-hostile to Lo Wang and can't hurt him in any way. They are usually have white or brown fur. Thanks to its art style, Shadow Warrior 3 is also pleasing to the eye.Rabbits found in the game behave the same way a common rabbit would in real world. The game does not require a high-end CPU, and both the DLSS and FSR implementations are exceptionally great. By doing this, you will increase the number of shaders your PC system can cache (which will result in fewer stutters in numerous games you’re playing as your PC won’t be deleting older shaders).Īll in all, Shadow Warrior 3 can run with more than 60fps on a wide range of PC systems. ![]() Speaking of which, we suggest NVIDIA owners raise the Shader Cache Limit to 10GB. Some may believe that a game runs better in DX11 than in DX12, but that may be because the “X” game has already cached some shaders. So no, Final Fantasy 7 Remake and other UE4 games don’t run better with DXVK or DX11. Moreover, these shader cache stutters prove that DX11 cannot magically fix a game that suffers from them. No, DX12 is not at fault for these stutters. We are mentioning this because some people believe that these shader cache stutters are only present in DX12 (and blame that particular API). Shadow Warrior 3 is a DX11-only game, meaning that shader cache issues can still happen with that API. While the overall experience is not as awful as in other games, like Far Cry 6 or Halo: Infinite, we are certain that these stutters will disappoint some PC gamers. The game currently suffers from both shader cache and traversal stutters. The game could also benefit from some RTGI, so it’s a bit disappointing that Flying Wild Hog has not experimented with it.īefore closing, we should mention one of the biggest issues of Shadow Warrior 3, and that’s its stuttering issues. For instance, there are noticeable terrain pop-ins, and some shadows can look a bit pixel-ish. Still, there are some graphical shortcomings. The game also packs some cool particle effects. All human characters look great, and its dismemberment system is incredible. Its art style is amazing, and its characters are highly detailed. Graphics-wise, Shadow Warrior 3 looks great. RTX owners can use DLSS Quality, whereas everyone else can use FSR Ultra Quality. Furthermore, both DLSS and FSR look great in this title, so we recommend using them. Again, keep in mind that this is a really demanding scenario. As for 4K/Max Settings, the only GPU that could run the game smoothly was the RX 6900XT. NVIDIA’s GTX980Ti was able to come close to a 60fps experience, although we did notice numerous drops to mid-50s.Īt 1440p/Max Settings, our RTX2080Ti, RTX3080 and RX 6900XT had no trouble running the game. Shadow Warrior 3 uses the DX11 API and appears to be mostly using four CPU cores/threads.Īt 1080p/Max Settings, our top four GPUs were able to provide a smooth gaming experience. That is obviously with Hyper-Threading enabled. Surprisingly enough, our simulated dual-core system was able to run the game with constant 60fps at 1080p/Max Settings. In order to find out how the game scales on multiple CPU threads, we simulated a dual-core, a quad-core and a hexa-core CPU. So, while the game may run significantly faster in other less demanding scenes, it can also run even slower at later (and more demanding) levels. Do note that we benchmarked one of the most demanding scenes at the beginning of the game. As such, we’ve decided to benchmark a demanding fighting scenario. Shadow Warrior 3 does not feature any built-in benchmark tool. ![]()
